The Seed Library at CCPL is located at the Reference Desk of the Main Library. Clark County residents age 14 and older may join the seed library by completing a Seed Library Membership form; no library card required! Members can choose from a variety of vegetable, herb, fruit, and flower seeds and may take up to 10 seed packets per month. Please limit your selections to no more than 2 packets per variety and only what you will use this season. Each seed packet contains enough seed for an individual or small family. View the seed catalog below to see what kinds of seeds are available. Please note: staff will update the catalog to the best of our ability, however we cannot guarantee seed availability.
There is no requirement to return or donate seeds to the seed library. Members wanting to support the seed library may donate commercial seed packets or saved seeds. All donations must be accompanied by a Seed Donation Form. Please complete the form to the best of your ability and hand it in with your donation at the Reference Desk. Donations of saved seeds must include one donation form per seed variety. Donations of commercial seed need only one donation form regardless of how many seed varieties are included. Donations not accompanied by the appropriate form will not be accepted.
